Tony Kushner's "Angels in America" was his seminal work about a subject that no one wanted to discuss in the 80s, when he began writing about his life as a gay man. The play premiered in 1993 on Broadway, a sensation that went on to become an HBO mini-series in 2003.
See the National Theatre Live performance, brought to you by RAMParts Presents, starring Nathan Lane, Andrew Garfield and a stellar cast on Sunday, January 14 at the Bellows Falls Opera House.
Andrew Garfield (Silence, Hacksaw Ridge) plays Prior Walter along with a cast including Denise Gough (People, Places and Things), Nathan Lane (The Producers), James McArdle (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and Russell Tovey (The Pass).
This new staging of Tony Kushner’s multi-award winning two-part play is directed by Olivier and Tony award winning director Marianne Elliott (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and War Horse).
